  1. Myrtle beach is the perfect place to retire and enjoy your retirement down at the beach with your friends and family not worried about picking up the phone and having your boss tell you to come back to your job.

  2. Come to Myrtle Beach where there’s homeless people everywhere, your car mostly likely will get broken into, its dirty, and heroin is out of control. This is the tru Myrtle Beach but since the area lives on tourism they don’t tell you all that. Last year over 800 doses of narcan were administered in our county, Horry county where Myrtle Beach is. This is the truth so come on down!!

  3. I just moved here and I can't say I like it. In fact, it's miserable. Want to drive with old people who can't see, hear, or use a turn signal? Got you covered. Are you a fan of chain restaurants? You're in luck. Do you LOVE mini golf? We have a billion of them. Can't wait to visit Huntington Beach state park? Well get ready to pay to get in and then pay to see an historic home INSIDE THE PARK THAT ALREADY PAID TO COME INTO. No no, Myrtle Beach is not the jewel of the Grand Strand

  4. Tips: I recommend renting a Condo rather than a Hotel. Sure, more expensive, but will be more comfortable. Also, I would say not to swim by any piers. Fishing rods and sharks are there.

  5. Any video you watch of Myrtle Beach is cranking the saturation up a few notches. Come visit and you will see that the beach is surrounded by a desolit landscape filled with hopelessness and despair. I know you want to save a buck, but go vacation somewhere else.

  6. Mrytle beach is a paradise for retired people: lovely beaches, garden city, good climate, diversified restaurants with tasty food, tons of the recreation, very affordable houses with low property tax, and, nice people. OMG!

  7. I live in Myrtle place is awesome u can't have a bad day here even when u don't have a lot of denaro in the summer winter any of it this place is awesome be smart about going to certain beach areas at night Surfside is usually safe don't troll around like pier 1 at night u might get stabbed just use good judgement

  8. Expedia would do well to research Myrtle Beach a little more thoroughly. What they are describing is NOT Myrtle Beach. The City of Myrtle Beach is 10 miles long – not 60. The Grand Strand (60 miles of beach) includes very notable Cities and towns like North Myrtle Beach (Its own municipality with it's own Mayor, safety services, etc.) The towns of Little River, Surfside Beach, Garden City (Where Huntington Beach is located), Murrell's Inlet, Pawley's Island, Litchfield and more. Please do not come to Myrtle Beach and think that everything in this video is here. That's a lot to cram into 10 miles long by 3 miles wide!

  9. A little inside info: when in Myrtle Beach, definitely visit the state parks (Myrtle Beach State Park and especially Huntington Beach State Park ) in the area. The best beaches and some very interesting history. You won`t be disappointed, I promise.

  10. Being a South Carolina native, Myrtle Beach is not very nice. The water is brown, prices are high. If you are looking for beach scene, go to a Gulf of Mexico beach in FL. If you want a good vacation to see SC, go to Charleston and the lowcountry.

  11. A beautiful place. Long beach is really attractive and I think it is the best place to spend the summer vacation. As for the video, the music is awesome, video is great and the script is also very luring. Time to make plans… Thank you expedia.
